Review
StuffPlug is an application that adds extra functionality to Windows Messenger. StuffPlug has come a long way since it was first released and now it feels and works absolutely great. There are many features that make this application a nice addition to Windows Live Messenger. The first of them is Action Text. Since Windows Messenger 8.0, new text messages have been added. Those messages tell the user that the other person is trying to send a picture, start a video conversation, etc. With Action Text, you can create your own customized messages and the other person will never know it was you. So you could do something like: "You contact wants you to deposit all your money in his bank account," and the other person will be given the option to accept or deny. Nothing happens, of course, but it is indeed fun. There are plenty other features. You can block contacts but still be able to talk to them when you need them. One nice feature about this application is that it allows you to open up your web mail with Mozilla Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. That just annoyed me. And now I am happy because I don't have to wait ages for Internet Explorer to load. |
